i\'ve heard of her,..but i don\'t have an image of her,..there\'s alot of chefs on tv these days and it\'s hard to tell which one she is...

Damn people Julia Child was the Martha Stuart of the 80\'s its just wrong that you dont know who she is... She really started all the TV cooking IMO..

My dad brought up there was one infamous episode where she cut her hand but they kept going on with the show.  He said blood even got into the food.

Maybe a myth after so many years but I wouldn\'t be surprised if it was partly true.

oh and RIP, I love good cooks :D

My mom has a homemade ( she made it on 3x5 cards ) recepie book she made whilst being a big fan of this show.

She was quite popular, terrible- she owned Emeril.

RIP Jeff Smith. He died in July. That show was on for almost 10 years.
