Paintballing for the first time

Any tips?  My friends and I like to joke around a lot so I was thinking of doing some stupid crap like rolling on the ground with my arms outstretched shooting my gun Will Smith style.  Would we be able to do dumb stuff like this or would the pain from the shots really make us want to hide behind trees like a :ghey:?

If the course has regualted guns then it only stings I played in a modified class arena and the shit left welts..... I was big into a while back and the last time I went I was the only guy left on my team against 6 others I went comando on there ass...

I went once in High School and it was SO much fun. I would recommend against wearing short sleeves. We actually played on an outdoor course with bases and shit. People were going all Navy Seal on each other. The area was SO big we were actually trying to set cover fire and flank our opponent. It was a blast.

The pain isn\'t so bad that you are going to want to hide but you definately are not going to be running out Rambo style.

Dont mess around, it can hurt- besides all the nerdy people (hopefully whatever you do the people arent all extreme "manuevers!!!")

The only way to paintball is to wear just a cup and mask.

I used to go all the time, it was so much fun.  Last time I went was about 2 years ago.

It hurts, but you don\'t feel it if you are running at full adrenaline.  It\'s when your "friend" shoots you in the ass while your walking ahead of them that really brings you to tears.

Well, I guess im just assuming how much it hurts because ive never been. Ive always wanted to but i never find the time to get a gang of people to go out there.

I only play the "wussy" version paintball - Lazer Tag. We do all that navy seal crap but there are also mirrors so its a bit more tactical i guess (considering it makes it both more difficult and easier at the same time. The best part about it, is that there are grates in random places on the upper levels so you can shoot up at people above you.

I dont know if i would play paint ball without a mask. There are too many stupid ass kids that would "accidently" shoot you in the face or something. I guess i could take one in the back of the head but im sure that hurts like hell too. I guess i could live w/o a cup, but it would be preferable.

Yes he seriouse Im telling you I played at a place called shooter world here unclasified division and people jack there guns all up I have been hit at 300 yards so hard the it left a bleeding welt? Yes it brought tears to my eyes......

Next round I hunted that sum biatch down and shot him at 2 feet wich is a big no no and I was disqualified but it felt really good...

Screw all that unregulated shit. I dont think ill ever be in the mood for bleeding welts. And i know ill get hit at least once.

I play paintball all the time. Paintballs an hurt immensely! Depending on the type of gun. There\'s some guns out there (Angel\'s) that shoot super a$$ far. Oh yea, lazer quest/tag is the best. My friends and i go a lot. Well, we used to when we were younger. Now, we paintball all the time. In town. lol. Sometimes we go out to my g-pa\'s farm. It\'s gotta nice swamp, forest, nice brush and a whole lotta corn! Its about 40 acres all together.

Basically, if you play with it regulated, like they said, it shouldn\'t hurt.  I however have played about 70% of my paintball unregulated, and as long as the people there aren\'t assholes, they shouldn\'t be playing at that high a speed anyway.  I have played upwards of 20 times, and only once have I been hit and had it really hurt, and that was from close up in the neck.  

I once saw someone have tears brought to their eyes by a hit, but that was an accident.  Some jackass was fooling around with a gun he thought was empty, had the barrel against the other guys skin, and shot, not realizing there was still a paint ball in the chamber.  The thing looked like a real gunshot wound, I swear.

Honestly though, if you are afraid of the pain, my advice is to just wear loose fitting clothing.  It slows the pain enough before it hits you that it doesn\'t really hurt.  I really wouldn\'t worry about the pain.  In my experience, it\'s nothing too bad.
