Yeah I noticed the rankings were screwed on the defensive end of things.

It\'s gonna lead to things being REALLY unbalanced on the defensive end between our teams.  Couldn\'t you have just given points for more things on team defense if you wanted defense to be worth more?

not sure how that would really work.  We can just go with it, it\'s just kinda hard to put waiver claims and have them work like a draft for a bunch of reasons.  Hopefully it works out somehow.

man, if I had known the rankings would be F\'ed up I would have fixed it.

The only other option is that we dump the league, and redraft completely with team defenses.  That way people who can\'t make the draft don\'t get screwed.

Or we can suck it up and deal with what we got.  Either way, it works for me.

Well, we can\'t dump the league after the draft.  I say we just deal with it.  We got lucky that most people were in the same boat, seeing as how only Deadly Hampster was in the draft room, and he didn\'t draft most of the best defensive players.  The ones who were inactive to the point of not checking the league between draft time and when the waivers went through bit themselves in the ass I guess.

And the Pending Trade - totally onesided, and I think should be vetoed. Not sure if anybody else agrees with me, but I personally think that Stephen Davis and Aaron Brooks for Matt Hasselbeck and Shaun Alexander is totally one-sided.

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

The trade went through!?!?!  It was only up for like a day!  WTF.  I think it should be vetoed as well.

Yeah, if you have commish review, you have to have the commish present to listen to protests and have a longer period for them to be pending.  The three of us who disagreed would have been enough if it were automatic.  *sigh*

And Deadly Hampster...well, how did you not draft Ray Lewis? :p

Well, since Hurricane was the guy getting Hasselbeck and Alexander, and he\'s also the commish, I can see why it didn\'t get vetoed.

Never been in a Facist Fantasy Football league before. This is new.

On my defense, the guy offered the trade to me, I didn\'t initiate it.  I know for a fact that Alexander is better than Davis, but Brooks and Hasselbeck are on par, Brooks is better scrambler, Hasselbeck is a better passer.

In any case, I did my best with setting up the league.  I basically set it up the same way another league I\'m in is set up.  In the other league, the defenders had proper rankings and did not get f\'ed up in the draft.

However, this was not all bad.  People who actually did check their teams were able to use waivers before they all became free agents.  So people who neglected their teams, which there are a few have shoddy defenses.  Nothing I can do, I\'m sorry.  Next year we\'ll go back to team defense, however unfair it may be, it\'s still better than what happened here.

In any case, if anyone has any suggestions on what to do now, I\'m all ears.

just so were all aware, I\'m 100% willing to undo the trade.  I\'d rather have everyone happy than have a super-stacked team.

It\'s the other guy that\'s the holdup.
