I took some really nice pics of the Vermont scenery while I was up there. They were while I was on the hiway up there (my mom was driving. I\'m not that stupid).

Grrr. I\'m having attachment problems. I tried adding my pics one at a time but the attachment thing sucks. I zipped them for you guar. Here are some of my landscape pictures of the Vermont country side of my visit there last month. I took this with my Canon Powershot S400. I took them while I was on one of the highways. My mom was driving. I\'m not that dumb to take pictures while driving.

EDIT: God dammit. What is with me and attachments. Can mods delete my posts with pictures and just keep this one?

I like shooting things like that. I should try and sell my pics or something :)

Those are the best pics I have from that day. I also have some on top of Straton Mountain. I\'ll see if I can zip them later. The pic that got posted repeatedly is a pic of the only cell tower in the whole damn state.

Problems with attachments :)

Erm... the scenary is rather nice but the quality of the camera....... the differences with a SLR are very noticeable.

SLR = Single Lens Reflex... those with interchangeable lenses and high quality image processing. Normally expensive and aimed to semi or proffesional photography. This is a SLR:



On the other hand, Compact cameras are those aimed to consumers looking for a \'click and shot\' camera. Some of them are really nice, with high quality image/price but the results, IMO cannot be compared with a prosumer SLR. This is a compact:

I wasn\'t. And I get it now. I like my S400 because I wanted a really compact and reliable camera with excellent quality (mine is 4MPs). There was one that was 5Mps for the same price but it was a bit bulkier (and probably on sale because it has become obsolete) but 4 is more than I need. I love my camera.
