THere was a pretty good article on Msnbc yesterday about the frequency of hurricanes. They are saying that the weather shifts about every 30-40 years.

"In the 40 years from 1926 to 1965 there were 14 major landfalling storms that hit," he said. "In the 38 years since then, there was only one: Andrew."

They are saying that Florida has just had it too good for to long and that this may be the shift back to the norm.

The powerline explosions are the coolest. You can\'t tell with your tape, but they are all different colors. It\'s real freaky when you are driving through it.

MP - Great video - that looked like fun to have your buddies over and ride out the hurricane. Too bad it was with a night vision lens for the flashes - I would have liked to have seen what color those flashes of light were. Good stuff!

unfortunately, you couldnt see shiat without nightvision on, but it was pretty freaky. BTW, those were my roomates

Yeah we lost power here too and we had the 45mph gusts here as well during Frances. Not nearly as bad as what you guys got, but I can well imagine. Pretty scary when you have 90 ft trees bending over behind your house!

It says I can\'t see the movie because the right compressor isn\'t installed. Anyone know how to correct this?
