Apparently it\'s kicking ass in the ratings, so it\'s looking like you will probably lose that bet.

BTW I have not and will not watch it.

If it\'s anything like friends, I\'d rather wear a white cape and hood into Harlem at midnight than watch that steaming pile.

It\'s doing very well so far, supposedly it managed to get 60% of Friends\' viewers...that\'s quite a bit.

I like it but it could definitely use Phoebe in it, those two complimented each other so well.

^i love this guy:laughing:

As for joey I think the ratings just reflect everyone trying to see if this show is anything worth watching seeing how friends was so huge. I wasn\'t a huge fan of friends but thought it had it\'s moments. I never liked joey and I don\'t think he can carry an entire show.

I caught a replay of the first episode tonight. It wasn\'t bad actually. Not as as good as griends, even though I didn\'t really watch that either. I think it\'ll last a few seasons...

So as far as spinoff\'s go, it\'s safe to say that it\'s not going to be quite as successful as Frasier?

I hated friends, towards the later seasons I found Ross\'s character to be good for a few laughs, however I hated everyone else.

In my avatar, my sig is just a generally badass thing a badass might say.

I\'m working on a more badass avatar though.. if that\'s possible.

Bill Paxton, and yes, it is.  That picture is from Aliens, however.  He had 5 minutes of great boasting, 20 minutes of whining, 40 seconds of kicking ass, and 8 seconds of dieing.  Overall, a great role.

Yea I was gonna say, he was definitely NOT a badass in Alien 2.  Made me want to punch the screen.  But if you like him he\'s cool w/me.  Threesome baby!!

THe writing is horrible in it.  Shows like Friends and Will and Grace have very good writers.  You don\'t see the jokes coming from 4 miles away.  THe stuff I saw from Joey was horrible.  You were just waiting for each joke knowing they were coming.

He wasn\'t exactly a bad ass in Weird Sciene:  "You spit in this?"
or True Lies: "I just pissed my pants."

No but he pretended to be a badass in True Lies! To much comical relief!

And he was a badass in Aliens!

I liked him in Twister. He survived a Tornado by tying himself to a long bent iron poll thing in a well-placed shack with Helen Hunt.

Only true badasses can survive a F4 Tornado going right over them. Bill Paxson is the actor of the previous Millenium, hands down. Oh, and what about Apollo 13? He got on that thing when Kevin Bacon got sick. What kind of a badass gets sick? Please. Bill Paxson kicks ass.

Oh, and Joey...meh. His sister\'s a whore. She needs to go away. That\'s why Friends was successful -- the series didn\'t have to revolve around Joey\'s ungodly amount of sisters.

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

GO CUBS!
