Just making sure. The internet is tough to trust for media these days...
I think it\'s legit.  Farnaz Fassihi IS a reporter for the WSJ stationed in Iraq.  I saw some of his other stories on the WSJ online website.  I need a more complete title or date to find this one, but that doesn\'t matter.  It could have been published somewhere else.

This already seems to be a lost cause, I just hope we get out of there before this becomes Vietnam. And when we do leave, let the insurgents build up so they feel secure and then blow the shit out of them. Why not, they used the same tactics on us?

Iraq is well on it\'s way to the Vietnam route. Why do they hate America?

We helped Osama Bin Laden when he needed help and turned around and helped his enemies when they needed help. We were very friendly with Hussain until he invaded Kuwait. We went into Vietnam and tried to help and nothing happened. And so on...

People see the US as a nosy country whos only wish is to spread democracy and to force others to see things their way. Alot of them go as far as to take it as an attack on their religion and beliefs.

Why would we leave let them build up and blow the shit out of them?
Don\'t try to confuse me with what you call  facts, my mind is already made up.
