Naomi Watts is HOT!
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

My primary concern with this movie is its use of the VHS format to which the cursed short is stored.  If anything this movie should appeal to the 21st century generation and if it were to succeed it has three choices:

1) DVD (aging)
2) HD-DVD
3) Blu-Ray

While DVD is currently the most popular format in which consumer use to rent their movies, I simply cannot imagine a "ghost" or any other kind of apparition to use either:

A) a standalone DVD Recoder
B) PC software such as DVD Lab for a DVD-RW drive

I mean the mere thought of a ghost fiddling with a mouse and eventually the BOSD is simply laughable.

So again, if this movie hopes to succeed it better shows some pubes.

If you\'re referring to the tape that she haunts. I\'d prefer it to stay on tape. Technically it makes more sense that she can change the magnetic particles to create the video she wants... A dvd on the other hand would be slightly more errr challenging.  Old technology makes it more viable, haunting a dvd or blu-ray etc is just friggin lame..

I liked the Ring, but sequels are always... meh...

That is what I meant.  She is a lesbian throughout the movie and it rules!

Ginko - you really need to see that movie. ;)

Speaking of lesbians - I had no idea one was on this season of Survivor.  Ami Cusack.  Not only is she a lesbian, but she is a former Playboy model.
