Might be going to NY, what should I see?
« on: October 17, 2004, 01:41:38 AM »
As the topic says, I might be going to visit my bro in NY soon. He\'s in Rochester, but I wouldn\'t wanna go all that way without visiting New York City too of course. :)

But is there anything in particular that I should pay special attention to?

There\'s also more to the United States than New York City.

What! That\'s crazy talk! :p

But seriously, I\'d love to see more of the States. But I don\'t know when and for how long I\'ll go, so... but of course a road trip across the country would be über cool!

NYC is all the more enjoyable if you have things planned out.  Only the smart tourist will get the best experience from NYC on each visit.

Plan to see a Broadway show, read up on how to get tix and hotels cheaper, see the schedules of the tourist attractions, and prepare to try the best food in the world. :)

Chinatown for cheap stuff and good food...

Several museums if you\'re into it...

Depending on when you\'re here, various sports arenas for whatever sport is in season...MSG, Shea Stadium, Yankee Stadium, etc...

The Village for the homosexuals...

SoHo for the fashion...

Coney Island, NY Aquarium...

Central Park

Financial District, Wall St...

5th Ave, several luxury hotels, Park Ave...

United Nations
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

The crack dealers.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.
