I also remember thumbing through Nintendo Power reading up on the Star Tropics review.

It\'s just a turn-based RPG, ala Final Fantasy.

Actually there\'s two of them, one for the NES and one for the Super NES. The latter is the only of the two released in America, and it\'s essentially a much bigger/better reboot of the first game.

Why does Earthbound have such a following? Real-world setting and quirky humor. Good story, too.
