Tekken 5 news

It appears Namco will add an extra free roaming mode with Jin that will differ from previous force modes.Jin will be able to transform into Devil Jin as well

Also there are 3 new time released characters.

Anna Williams
Roger(?)
Baek (??)

There are around 25 characters so far including Devil Jin.


I though Baek was killed by Ogre and one of the reasons Hwoarang entered the KOIFT3  except from beating Jin was to avenge for his masters death.

oh and it seems that Heihachi\'s fighting style is replaced by Heihachi\'s father Jinpanchi.

Those 3 characters arent new but i know what you mean. And Heihachi\'s style changing? Crazy - never thought id see that day. Never knew his fathers name since they never really mention it.

His father was never mentioned before.I was surprised by this as much as you are.
Jinpanchi might probably have a similar fighting style to Heihachi\'s though.





It seems that Namco is trying to bring back the tekken that was back in 1997.
The last time we saw so many characters was in Tekken2.Ok I think not as many but close.
ts good to know that despite that there are many characters,clone like characters arent as many as in Tekken2.Also  the return of classic characters like Baek is a great surprise.
Who knows we might even see Bruce coming back rom the dead (another killed victim of Ogre )

Ok i must be getting senile because i cant remember much of the plot right now. Where the hell is forest? I thought Lee got his ass whooped. Who the hell is Asuka with the kazama name? And now heihachi is gone and his father comes back and nobody knows how.

BTW: raven looks dope. - I hear that he was influenced by blade or some crap? *shrugs*

One more thing: They need to bring back Jun damnit

Asuka\'s profile doesnt reveal any connection with Jin or Jun despite the fact that she is using the Kazama fighting art.Weird

Asuka seems to have the same fighting style as Jun\'s btw

She does to a small extent - its obvious with that first backwards handspring. And it also tells what happened with forest. Ling\'s story is kinda goofy but thats no surprise.

Too bad Hwoarang hasnt changed much either. One of my favorite characters.
