He is only an "American" because he was not talented enough at the time to make the Canadian national team so he turned his back on his home country and became an American.

...and maybe the fact that he was from America and came from a pretty good hockey background. Being that Brett Hull is one of the all-time goal-scorers in NHL history, I have a hard time believing that he didn\'t play Hockey for Canada because "He wasn\'t good enough", if that was even a possibility.

And no, Giga, for once, the USA isn\'t better than another country in something. It\'s been proven on the ice and pretty much everywhere else that basically, Canada owns the United States in Hockey. Meh, oh well. Not like it\'s really that important to be the best in, anyways.

ROL - I was referring to standard of living.  Only a moron would think the US produces better hockey players than Canada.  :rolleyes:

Actually, we lost basketball too.  We don\'t play it right at all.  I think the only sport that we can dominate the hell out of and cannot be touched in is American Football.  This is all thanks to them Texans.
