I actually had my wisdom teeth removed very much painlessly. It was prolly a combination of fortunate root development and the age at which they were removed, but I didn\'t need to be put under, and I really didn\'t think it was that bad at all. I ended up going out that same night.

Of course, my points of comparison might be a little different from most people. I haven\'t exactly had the most pleasent dental history

. Best memory: chipping my two front teeth in half. Actually, about 1/3 of each was left in place, the other 2/3 ending up mostly in my upper lip. Happened when I was high sticked playing hockey.

Does laughing gas actually make you laugh?

Nitrous Oxide aka laughing gas as far as i know doesn\'t make u laugh. It can make you high.

personally amazed its still used. I\'ve yet to come across a dentist these days that does use it.

I got injected on the arm. That sucker put me out in less than 5 seconds. I think they use that on runaway Rhinos.

I was injected, gassed, novicaned. I had the works to make me high. The gas is the shiznit though. I love the gas. It makes me feel really really good

You are all a bunch of soft tarts, I only ever have local injections, within an hour or so, the effects start to wear off.

Wisdom teeth are in the VERY back, and yes...they hurt like a frocking beyotch. I had all 4 of mine removed. Fun stuff :rolleyes:

Yep, I still have mine, well 3 of them. Some doris in the pub one night had too many sherberts. She cracked me in the jaw with her elbow and knocked half of one clean out of my mouth. I went to the dentist to have the rest removed.

It didn\'t hurt much, but it sure did bleed a lot.

True dat my man, true dat. I was on cloud 9 with my painkillers. The bottle was gone in less than a week.
