Mexican Goverment provides guide to Illegal Immigration

Mexico Provides Guide to Illegal Immigration
Wednesday, January 05, 2005

The 32-page booklet, free with popular comic books and advertised at bus stations and government offices south of the border, comes courtesy of the Mexican government.

"This is a bad idea because it encourages more people to come," said Rick Oltman of the Federation for American Immigration Reform. "Now they have the added incentive of the Mexican government telling them how to survive the trip."

The book\'s main focus seems to be instructing people on how to cross the border safely. For example, it warns Mexicans that when crossing the border, "thick clothing increases your weight when wet and makes it difficult to swim or float" and "if you cross in the desert, try to walk when the heat is not as intense."

"At end of the day, this is about the survival of individuals who we know unfortunately are perishing in desert," said Angelica Salas of the Coalition for Humane Immigration Rights (search).

The guide also gives advice on how to live unobtrusively in the United States, advising illegals not to beat their wives or go to loud parties because either action may attract the attention of police.

While some studies claim illegal immigrants help the U.S. economy by providing cheap labor, others complain they cost taxpayers billions in welfare and education costs. Good or bad, they are breaking U.S. law, and the Mexican government seems to be helping them.

We need to build a very big wall on our southern border and put a minefield in front of it.  What is stopping terrorists from using this so called guide as well?

Stupid, white people...
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

I like that.

Let\'s build the "Second Berlin Wall"

I really do like that idea.

Have you attended school before?  Obviously considering this wall and the Berlin Wall would be so similar.....

Yea, we discussed this in my America in Transition course yesterday.  It was a sub, but our sub was the man that originally wrote the course at many schools across the country.  He was bringing up the news lately and was quite bothered by this one.

What exactly does Mexico have to gain from this?

I understand the history between the Berlin wall, so please don\'t even attempt to try to educate me.

It\'s not the same. The way those two spoke of such a wall is much worst. "Minefields" and "gattling guns"

Where has all the respect for human life gone?

It\'s not alright for others to kill Americans, but it\'s beyond alright for you to wish death and destruction on to whomever threatens your little penis.

The guide is nothing more than a survival tool for those people who regardless of what they are told, will attempt to cross in order to start over from scratch.

Why don\'t we come up with a better immigration reform instead of trying to annihilate everything that threatens you?

But what can I do?

Appereantly, hypocrisy has become part of the "American way"

The fact that you take them seriously is a joke.   Also, I won\'t try to educate you cause it\'d take too much time to go over each of your post.

As for the guide, please tell me you\'re defending it.

Yes, I\'m sure they really didn\'t mean what they said. I\'ve noticed how nice and polite they become when they talk about illegal immigration.

Yes Bozco. Please don\'t attempt to educate me. You really are able to tell my IQ through sentences on an online forum.

(Sarcasm:
I didn\'t take it as an insult. I mean, you wouldn\'t get mad if I said that all of you rednecks should be shoved in a reservation and have indians randomly shoot arrows in your direction...)

I\'am defending it. As long as the guide saved the lives of the people who have the right intetion of coming here to help out their families and survive. If it ever proves otherwise, I damn it to hell.

While your intentions are well it isn\'t benefiting us in the least explaning to people how to avoid the police.  All that is doing is leaching off us.

Did Miss Tiq say something about his IQ? BWHAHA! If his IQ were to be measured in fahrenheit, it would freeze water.

See Bozco that is why I posted this article.  I knew Mystiq would defend it.  No American can really defend what the Mexican government is doing.  A guide to immigrating illegally is indefensible, but Presidente Fox has already hinted about this earlier in refusing to refer to Mexicans that enter this country illegally as illegal aliens - instead he calls them "migrant workers".

This would be like our government giving a guide to American tourists visiting Mexico on how to shoplift and steal in Mexico.

Why would Fox want people to leave Mexico?  To get rid of criminals or would working in the US somehow bring more money to his country?

We have a winner!

Basically he is encouraging the poor of Mexico to come here and leach off of us.  Most illegals send most of their money back to Mexico.
