I want to write a song...

Ok, I play guitar and piano, right??

Well I want to write a song.  I have written songs before, but they didn\'t turn out like I want.

I love acoustic songs.  Anybody got any good ideas/topics for a song?

Make it an Emo song about kitty cats and puppy dogs, call it lesbian seagull and make a flash out of it.

But on a serious level, only you can come up with topics.

Or mix it... take a little from SwifDi\'s journal, a little from Titan\'s and some from Racer\'s. Suddenly you have enough material to write ten songs about lost loves and homosexuality.

I think it\'s entirely up to you. If you have a journal full of crappola, then you already have a reference for ideas. So go with that.

Well, I play piano/guitar [acoustic and electric] too, and I mix stuff on the computer. I also have a book full of poetry [mostly morbid or depressing things], and I always get ideas from it.

Writing a song is very easy. Writing a good song is where it\'s tough. I\'m never really happy the way my stuff comes out. I\'m always thinking it could be better or it\'s just not quite right.
