OK, I\'ve gotten phase one done of my site. I just wanted to get the darn thing up.

I\'ve never done one and I have no freaking clue what I\'m doing, but I think I did ok so far.

I know, the contact info is hard to read, but my computer sucks and it keeps crashing on me when I\'ve tried rendering the piece at a different angle. so suck it.

I\'d love any help I can get. I\'d like to eventually make it easier to update. I don\'t know how to make it work like a database, but I\'d like to be able to easily enter things I\'ve done and things that are about to air.

try out the video section. It seems to stream fine for me. Only takes a couple seconds to start running.

56kers can eat me. Although I\'d like to know how sucky the site is at 56k. Honestly I didn\'t create the site for 56k though. Anyone in the media business at 56k needs to just pack it up and go home.

well, first of all I\'d lose the 3d logos, logo\'s like that always look amature\'ish, the logo\'s you had were very good.

Chose a color palette and stick with it, 3 to 4 colors at most, the grey\'s and white are good but you need a contrasting color for that, say that line thing under the images and logo.

The colors should also apply the text on the site, the default blue colors for the links look very out of place.

I\'ll whip up a mockup with a few changes if I have time.

I changed all the links to be gray. DOn\'t know why they are coming up blue.

I made the 3d thing because I have to make something for video and that ties in. Although the more I think about it, I kind of like the other one still. Just wish I had the font back. I can\'t believe I deleted it.

But again, this isn\'t to promote myself as a website builder. It\'s just a place on the net for people to look at video clips. I know I suck at website crap.

Your site directly realtes to you if you got a cheese as site then it doenst matter that your vids are good they will think your cheese ass.

Exactly. That\'s what I was going for. In a nutshell.

I\'d love to do stuff in flash, but that damn program has gotten so damn complicated since version 4. I just don\'t have the time to learn the shit it takes to learn to make a nice looking site. So therefore I have come to the realization that I will just sit in my pool of suckitude.

PHP-Nuke is the easiest and most popular way to add an instant database to your website.

If your web host provides CPanel it should be an installable script with the click of a button.

I had a mac with my old work. That thing was slower than my 1.3 I am on now. I quit and they took the computer back. Now I\'m unemployed and have just one shitty computer.

it\'s just me or is the one No One made looks better? Maybe except that tabs, Video looks more interesting, but the logo and the title, No One looks better than Videoholic...
