Your thoughts on marriage?
« on: February 08, 2005, 01:17:56 PM »
How\'s it working out for you, or what do you think?  My friends are slowly getting married off.

I get a call yesterday from one friend who says they are now separated (probably temporarily).  Another friend moved off to Kansas because his wife\'s family lives there and she doesn\'t want to move.  Another friend has a good marriage, and are in the area BUT the dood can never hang out lol.  We used to be work out buddies but now it\'s hard to get a return call from him. :\\

Well just curious.  Ideally I\'d like to stay a bachelor until I dunno, late 20s or even somewhere in the 30s.  How bout y\'all?

ask me this a year ago and I would have said eith 35+ or never, but I\'ve since really changed the person I am.  I\'m not the player I used to be, and would love to get married if I met the right person.  However, I think that you should be financially stable before you concider marriage, age is less of an issue than stability to me.

Whenever the hell you can afford it, and if you both REALLY enjoy being with each other.

I have no real desire to get married and I\'m 31. When my parents were my age, they were married 2 years, and were already well on their way to making me.

These times, they are a changin\', less and less people from the UK are tying the knot each year.

And anyway, if there is true love between 2 people, why should they need a piece of paper to prove it?

So swiffy, the answer is no.

:D
Don't waste your words I don't need anything from you. I don't care where you've  been or what you plan to do. I am the resurrection and I am the light. I  couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I'd like.

Marriage is going to fade away in the future. More than half of all marriages end in divorce.

I\'ve been married 10 months. It\'s been great so far. Then again, we\'ve been going steady for 10 years before we got married. No, we never lived together until now, of course.

in the words of the great Chris Rock..."married and BORED or single and LONELY!"  :D  j/k...i\'ve been married over two yrs now...this is my 2nd one...i can truly say wait till you\'re finacially stable as in my first marriage i was just 19!...after my first marriage i was just dating alot of women, or should i say f**king alot of women...but believe or not that gets old after awhile and soon you just wanna chill with someone special...

i\'m not sayin you\'re gonna want to get married, you\'re just gonna want to have a gf..but you can\'t go lookin for it..you gotta let it come to you...that\'s how i found my current wifey..s**t she\'s the best thing that ever happened for me...but if i had to choose i\'d say late 20\'s early 30\'s..use the 20\'s to have fun and party and decide where you want to go in life, by 28 or 29 you should definitely know where you want to be...
knowledge, wisdom & understanding..these are the basic fundamentals of life

if you can\'t amaze them with brilliance, baffle them with bullsh*t....

I was 26.  Done with the whole club thing.  Ready to have a kid.  Done.

It was weird.  I use to hate being around kids.  Then just all the sudden like a light switch went off and I was ready.  You just know.
I wear a necklace now because I like to know when I\'m upside down.
