Hmm ... don\'t know much about fruityloops these days, I run reason for that type of stuff. But I am using cubase SX  with reason slaved to it, and I\'ve found a ton of free VST synths and plugins...

here are some free effect plugs that seem cool.

also http://www.voxengo.com/ has some free plugs that sound great, I\'ve tried them. Later, if I have time, I\'ll ask my friend andy who DL\'s a shitload of stuff like that.

edit:

Here\'s a cool place with some sweet NES-type synths...

Well i dont know what version of FL youre using but with a pack or 2 of semi standard plugins etc. my cousin and i are still coming out with some decent material. The only reason we arent using other programs is because were just too used to FL and the others we dont feel like buying right now. For our purposes so far FL does the trick. If you want to hear some of our stuff just ask.

BTW, we are using FL5

FL5???I am using FL3 :(
And recently I ve heard some pieces a 19 year old made on FL4 but he is sent plug ins from a friend producer in Austria  that do wonders with it.
FL3 lacks good synths and plug ins unless you install some good ones to work with it.

I d love to hear some of your pieces btw :)
Do you upload them at AcidPlanet?

Hmmm.... sorry man, im not much help with the vst plug-ins. Usually they kinda install themselves but maybe i just put them where they need to be? IDK i dont pay much attention to them. The thing with fl isnt just to have good synths but to make them yourself. Thats the difficulty in it. I mean i remember before the Fruity Slayer (a new guitar engine), people were making pretty decent guitar synths in the early versions of 3. Its complicated.

I guess it all depends on what you want to make etc. If you want me to send you some you can pm me your email i guess or you can just im me on AIM/AOL @ Brdr212.

Yeah I know what you mean. But I need to combine the appropriate FX with the sounds I choose and tweak to make them sound well.I lack VST plug ins and generally effects to combine them.
I am mostly into electronic music and I seriously need as much felxibility as possible to make my pieces sound more proffesional and be able to play with the instruments as much as possible.
I get good results already with some tracks but I reach to a point were I find it hard to do newer and better things.I cant improve.
The thing is having diminishing results the more I am using it with the current plug ins and I need somehing that will increase them :p
