I don\'t know if this is piracy, But I wanna import my purchased DVD movies to a smaller mpeg format so I can save them on a flash card to play on my PSP. Is there a program capable of doing this? Again, if this is not to be discussed here, sorry. Not my intention to distribute, just convert.

DVDShrink is free and lets you pick out certain parts of your DVD to rip to your HD (ie- omits the extras, subtitles, and unneeded language tracks). Rip them at the highest setting for no quality loss and you\'ll have a folder full of .VOB and .IFO files.

I\'m not sure if that special encoder program accepts VOB files but VDub mpeg-2 edition does. You can convert to any codec there. Does the PSP only play its own codec or can you use any generic mp4?

I believe it\'s any mp4.... no special codec.

And thanx, I\'ll give those a try.
