IGN- The Big E3 List! (The games they are playing)
« Reply #1 on: April 13, 2005, 05:16:42 AM »
After looking through that list.. this has to be the FIRST time i am glad i am not going to E3.

But still we Do have The PS3.. X box Next and Nintedno Rev ... all being shown Preshow.

So that will kind of make up for the general level of crapness the games.

Still some nice game titles in that list... though you have to wade through all manner of crap to get to them.

Like omg new Mario and Zelda.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

When did they say that? Last I heard was that the XBox2 was debuting on MTV on the 12th and the PS3 and Revolution were debuting at E3.

The story will be much the same at Nintendo, which is expected to highlight new games for the DS, along with the highly anticipated "Legend of Zelda" for the GameCube. The company will, however, give the first details on its next generation home system, currently code-named "Revolution". As with Sony, though, don\'t expect to know all of the answers. "This year\'s E3 is not Revolution\'s coming out party," Reggie Fils-Aime, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Nintendo of America told me last month.

Next gen should landmark the ending of sequels of current established game franchise imo. Yes, even the ones I still love now. I was and still am still eager to play Perfect Dark Zero. I\'m just a bit disappointed I\'ll probably have to buy and Xbox2 for it if i wanna play.

I really hope E3 will show that devs and publishers are willing to really move forward with the next generation of console & pc games.

New technology like that independant physics & AI processing card tech should stimulate totally new gameplay thus throwing away established games.
Yes, I am of opinion that AI and leveldesign is more important than interface changes. So, new AI excites me more than some new wireless or screentouch controlpad.

Imo the emphasis should be on innovation of gameplay through stuff like that, not graphics.

Of course, the graphics hype will ensue anyhow.

The only games I look forward to are Perfect Dark Zero and the new Legend of Zelda.

Castlevania DS (DS)
Soul Calibur III (PS2)

Out of that list, that is all I see, how sad.

On related notes, glad to see Killer 7 and Mario 128 are still in development. I mean, honestly, how long has it been since we first heard about this games? Jesus.
