I don\'t understand why HP choose 5400 RPM HDD for their made computer? Only bottom of the line or old HDD are still 5400. As if HP try to sell CPU and motherboard at a reasonable price but put an inferior HDD to make some profit.
Nowadays, one can buy 120 Gbytes HDD with 8 MB buffer, Ultra ATA 133 and 7200 RPM speed for $60 or less. I bought Maxtor with that spec and price last December. So, it should be cheaper now and the one HP listed is only 80 GB...
