Everyone remembers her right? America\'s poster-girl for intolerance and ignorance!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/graphics/2005/01/11/wabuse11a.jpg

The New York Times reported today that England admitted, "I knew it was wrong," to abuse Iraqi detainees held at Abu Ghraib prison, "for personal amusement."

England stated that her "former lover in Iraq and father of the baby boy she gave birth to in October" Charles Graner, pressured her, as well as several of her peers, into ordering "Iraqis into disturbing and sexually suggestive poses" that violated their religion.

Coursts are threatening her with 11 years in jail but she deserves more. What a sick sick display of American power Abu Ghraib was. In order to show other countries how wrong we belive the Abu Ghraib incidents to be, we need to be harsh on this woman and others involved.

Graner received 10 years in jail after pleading guilty to all charges.

When asked if the conduct was encouraged by a chain of command, England replied, "No, sir."

Captain, 4 sergeants deny abusing Iraqis

5/3/2005

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) - In a case with echoes of the Abu Ghraib scandal, a Danish army captain and four military police sergeants pleaded innocent Monday to charges of mistreating Iraqi detainees.

The charges stem from the March 9, 2004, interrogation of four Iraqi detainees at Camp Eden in the southern city of Basra, where the 530-strong Danish contingent in Iraq is based. The detainees were suspected of participating in riots.

Military prosecutor Benny Holm Frandsen told Copenhagen City Court that Capt. Annemette Hommel forced the four detainees to kneel in uncomfortable positions while she questioned them.

He said Hommel and the four military police sergeants on trial verbally humiliated the detainees and denied them water during questioning. Two of the military police allegedly dragged one detainee so that his trousers were pulled down to his ankles.

All the defendants pleaded not guilty to charges of violating the military penal code. If found guilty, each could face a one-year jail sentence.

Oh noes! They had to kneel in uncomfortable positions and while thirsty too! I\'m amazed they didn\'t die during this inhuman display of torture.

10 years is a long ass time to be in jail just for what they did.  She\'s not the ideal American but a big chunk of her life will be gone for a little escapade she did in her early 20\'s.  ouch.

pretty much, we all know this s**t happens all the time on both fronts, thing is if you are gonna do that s**t and i say this only because i can imagine what some of those people faced on a daily basis (getting shot at, roadside bombs, fellow soldier being hung from bridges, dragged in the street)....again tho if you\'re gonna do that s**t just don\'t get caught...they did so now all they can do is man up and face the punishment...........
