Dead or Alive 4 screens?

There are 15 pics total in the link above.

On one hand the character models and clothes look amazing, but on the other hand the backgrounds are a bit underwhelming in some aspects, mostly the textures and lighting.

EDIT: Thought I\'d compare two shots

^^^That looks pretty damn sharp, the clothes look absolutely amazing, imo.


^^^Again, the characters and clothes look great, but the textures of background objects seem very flat.  The fighters almost look out of place there.

I don\'t see too much wrong with those shots.... too bad games will never look that good unless you have a HDTV

Yeah all signs point to a 360 launch title should be sweet:D

Not impressed.Despite that it looks better than any other fighting game the difference isnt as much as I have expected

WTF? In the first pic...the chic looks like CG. In the second pic...it looks like a somewhat CG background with crappy  textures here and there, but the characters look like they\'re from Xbox, like they were photoshopped into the image. What the hell is going on?

It\'s like Xbox quality characters in better looking backgrounds...this blows. I\'m disappointed.

Lots of depth-of-field, and it\'ll look better in motion.

I\'m not sure what to think now, I\'ve read from several sources that these are pics from before Team Ninja received Xenon development kits.  Place holder graphics so to speak.

DOA4 will be at E3 next week.

This is Team Ninja...I expect much greater than this. They previously stated they could make the game look like the CG scenes in DOA. This just looks like an enhanced DOA game on Xbox.

Well, if you look at the cloth you can already tell it\'s much more sophisticated than DOA3 or DOAU.  The environments have much more detail as well, but the textures and lighting make it look flat.
