Given the specs of the machine I have to admit this is what I anticiapte the graphics to look like.

The PS2 has 4mb ov Vram, the PS3 has 256mb of Vram @ 700mhz. That should allow for a boat load of high resolution textures. If the PS2 developers got the hang of streaming data, then they should be able to 100x\'s more with the PS3\'s hardware.



WIll know when we see those real time shots, but I personally expect the next gen to reach this level of graphics.

so I take it you guys haven\'t seen the videos yet?  Some of these games are blowing me away

scroll to the bottom and watch both streams.  The second one is better.  Killzone is in the first one though :eek:  Heavenly sword looks badass as well, along with this offroad racing game.

From the guys I have talked to the KZ pics are most likley real time.

Have you guys watched the show yet? Some REALLY REALLY amazing stuff was shown.. You MUST check it out.

I think most of the stuff that was shown for PS3 was realtime (KZ, Warhawk,Getaway, that fps game, bla bla bla.. *) see for yourselfs.

That game looked great.. The battle scene where lots of soldiers were running across the field was... fantastic! :)
