I just scanned the article I didnt read it in detail.It mentions though that there were a few "mistakes" in the movie which are usually seen in real time games.I ve noticed one too and mentioned it.
But I dont know....seems too good to be true anyways
(the guy at 1UP believes its real time on the other hand because someone who worked on it has told him so.But that may be BS)

The Killzone video is suspect so naturally people would seek confirmation one way or the other.  There\'s quite a bit of information pointing to it being pre-rendered CG, but, again, that\'s not confirmed.  

It doesn\'t stike you the least bit odd that it was head over heels better than anything else shown?  That Guerilla was able to make something that much better than Epic?

Like I said, take it for what it\'s worth.  I, for one, am finding alot of the games shown thus far to be a little far fetched, and I won\'t believe it until I play it (that includes 360).

Games  I ve seen so far on XBOX360 seemed to be the real deal.But what was shown on PS3......damn.It really isnt the same.You dont know if you should raise expectations and heighten the risk for a dissapointment or lower them and feel like an idiot for being presented possibly CGI videos that dont represent at all what we are going to see.

FF7 though is real time according to IGN.Which increases hope :)

Xbox 360 vids are from the alpha dev kits. The shitty videos at least tell us they won\'t be deceiving us with pre rendered garbage.

C\'mon, use some rational sense.

There are alot of ppl out there who can\'t wait to see Sony fall flat on it\'s face.

Becuz Xbox360\'s Ati gpu uses the unified shader method and Sony hasn\'t revealed the exact performance specs of it\'s RSX gpu, a true specs comparison is not possible yet.

Ppl are very good to find new \'leverages\' to make their claim or argument. Last time it were the famous "jaggies" and "tough to program for" and now it\'s the PS3 game footage.

Evidence, either way, will prove the facts, when it gets here.

New screens. Obviously from that same footage.

1st screenshot  : look at the concrete walls on the right of the stairs. That is definately ingame geometry & texturing. Any high end cg animator would have found that unacceptable in his work.

Also, the way that Hellghast\'s coat moves when he falls looks like we\'ve known it in high end pc games which use Havoc.


2nd screenshot : look at the floor. Looks  like ingame texture to me. Charactermodels look like 7000 to 10.000 polygon models with great textures and normal mapping. They DO stand out with sharp edges from the background though ; any prerender would have made for softer silhouettes

So, I tend to the side to think this might just be the realtime engine. I\'m NOT saying like final ingame, just realtime engine. Most likely scripted and an overabundance of particle effects.

Sony & Guerrilla would do good though, to actually clarify on the whole discussion, on record.

7000-10000?I doubt it.Take a look at the character at the beginning of the trailer.Even the parts on his suit look like seperate objects.I believe its a lot more.

But there is also a mistake around 20 seconds in the movie.At first I thought it was a taxture or a shadow poping out of nowhere.But actually it was a shadow of a character because it was the whole character that popped up.I dont think we see such things in CGI.Or do we?

The textures may be so because they didnt need to do any additional work to make it look good. That and for the most part those textures are only seen up close for a second or so at best. The gun looks far too flawless. I can imagine if we started to see a few small straight edges but you really dont.

I dont know, but im not holding my breath.

Well yeah I see some bad I think its because of the pic\'s quality.I think.
I found another mistake btw
1:43 minutes in the movie look closely at the right lower corner.A part of his shoulder shows then vanishes and appears again.
