i know i\'m kinda steppin\' outa my element here...but i was just  loungin\' around last weekend when i came across their video..i think it\'s called "windmills"..the video was animated with characters in a big ass windmill ship...anyway i thought this song was pretty hot..i mean the first time i heard it i was like "yo, this s**t sounds kinda hot"...

i don\'t usually pick up these types on cd\'s and even tho the majority of the time i\'m mostly hip hop & r&b & house...i still like to get some rock music..if that\'s what this is....but i\'ve also wanted to get metallica "unforgiven"...staind\'s "it\'s been awhile" and lincoln park\'s "breakin\' the habit" nickelback\'s 1st joint was cool too...i usually go down to tha hood to get the bootleg joints of the cd\'s i want which is mostly rap & r&b...so these types of cd\'s "rock" i gotta get when i\'m at the mall...thing is, is that i completely forget about those joints when i\'m in there...

damn this getting long,..anyway just wanted to know if anybody\'s gonna cop this?

It\'s a good possibility I\'ll buy this one.  FYI, the name of the song is feel good, inc.  I think it was knotter that posted a link to the video on this forum quite some time ago.  Where have YOU been?

oh ok...heh i probably over looked that thread, because alot of times when there\'s talk of a rock or soft rock thread,..i usually don\'t check into those...and i probably didn\'t know who or what gorilla was back then..:p

clips, you should check out "wanna buy a monkey?" by Dan the Automator. He\'s behind the first Gorillaz album. The album I mentioned is a dj mix. Real tight. He spans all sorts of styles, scratches on top, and beatmixes one song into another.

What about Del the funky homosapien? He\'s very.... different. Mostly hip hop but definately not conventional. He rapped over the first Gorillaz single.

Yeah, awhile ago i saw that Feel good inc. videoclip via CGtalk.com becuz it\'s 3D animated stuff.

Personally, i \'m not too fond of Gorillaz. I dunno, it just seems to lack a certain groove. De La Soul do their thing indeed, but Damon \'Blur\' \'s Bristol triphop background kinda always seeps through which makes it feel like hip hop on a medical life support system. It just drags on and on very monotonously.

Even if Beck has one single hiphop-like song on his album "hell yes" , that one nails down the groove i mean at least twice as good.

I\'d rather hear stuff like Q-Bert, Xecutioners etc.

Well, I got it. It\'s gettin\' better the more I listen to it. There are some phat butt jams on it, and some real abstract shit, too. Kinda like when radiohead decided to get all weird. I recommend it, but don\'t go into it with any expectaions.
