That thing is enormous. But I would have bought it a month ago, I just bought a phone and a 5 gig mp3 last month.

4-5GB mp3 players are useless in my opinion.  I don\'t want to have to decide what music will be on the device, and what will be left behind.  That\'s a compromise you don\'t have to make when there are 40 - 60GB players readily available.  Everytime one of these combo devices is released, it\'s always a compromise of some sort.

I don\'t know how much music you have (or want to listen to) but for me 5 gigs is enough. I usually listen to the same 20-50 songs for a period of time, then I get something new. I have no use for thousands of songs (not that I\'d mind either, but I just don\'t need it).

Good point Cored but when you travel as much as you do, I know how much of a pain it is to haul around all the seperate chargers and cables for your devices.

For my Florida trip I had to bring 4 sets of chargers, including rechargable batteries for my digicam, cell phone, razor, and mp3 player.  Part of the reason why I didn\'t bring my videocam along.

And I agree with Sammy 4 gigs is just about right for a week long trip, or daily commute.  For my car it\'s nice to have a big library though.
