How about you look at it this way, people typically don\'t care about things until they experience it. Once you experience it, your eyes open and you may be inclined to do something about it. Not saying that Christopher Reeve was any kind of saint, but there is nothing to say that he not only wanted to cure himself, but also help other people goin\' thru the same thing. If nothing else, he gave those people a certain hope, which is all they really have.

P.S - Maddox is nothing more than some guy who thinks it is "cool" to bag on popular things, while cussing a lot. While funny at times, it does not hold any actual valid points or anything of substance. Think of it as a raunchy comedy and nothing more. The only downside is that there is always goin\' to be idiots like Unicorn! who think sites like that have an actual "meaning".
