looks like the "hot coffee" mod wasn\'t really a mod at all.  It\'s code is even hidden in the ps2 version.  It\'s getting pulled off the shelf everywhere.

Actually, it\'s a great stunt. As AO rating will FINALLY be put to good use. IMO, GTA should have had that to begin with.

from what i\'ve heard Rockstar is gonna pull the current version from the shelves and re-release a M rated game without the "sex".

So, M is 17 plus while AO is 18 plus.  Wow big deal, the bad part being many retail stores refuse to carry AO games.

I love how the local news is covering this like it\'s a huge deal.  At least people around here have common sense.  They had an interview with a guy who said that pulling it from the shelves to put a different sticker isn\'t going to do shit.  It\'s the parents responsibility to make sure the kid doesn\'t get his hands on it.

Yea, but the average person might not do that.  Either way the game is gonna sell though, just is lame that some outside mod that pulls hidden content would get them under so much heat.
