does anybody know why people can\'t distinguish between superman and clark kent?...i mean take the glasses offa clark kent and they look exactly the same,..but there\'s a reason why people can\'t tell them apart....*jeopordy theme*.....

meh i won\'t go into samwise mode...and i don\'t wanna take this thing completely off topic,..but the reason why people cannot distinguish between the two is because as superman he is vibrating so fast that he actually looks different from clark kent to the human eye...yea it\'s a lame excuse, but i remember reading that not too long ago in one of his books.....

True, true. There is also the point, that for the most part, people would just assume that Superman, is well, Superman all the time. Why would he make himself a lowly, bumbling fool? It is not only the vibrating face, but the attitude that throws people off.

As for throwing a punch at lightspeed, the answer would be no. Him going at lightspeed, would take all his energy. I mean, in the \'Return of Superman\' comics he complains that it is taking to long to fly across country and how it use to take four mintues, but he doesn\'t have all his energy. The same is explained when he takes a punch and it hurts him. Anything he does, takes the solar energy he has.

y\'know i\'ve always wondered about that part as far him takin\' punches...i think i\'ve mentioned before of an early crossover dc/marvel book from the 70\'s where superman fought spidey and spidey actually hurt his hands hittin him, which was understandable, but there was another comic where superman fought the hulk and he just stood there takin\' all of the hulks blows which i found kinda hard to believe, i think supes said something along the lines of "do your best hulk but when i make my body as hard as diamond, nothing on earth can move me"...but your explanation(solar energy) has cleared up that issue...

BTW:  The new Cloud looks like what he should have looked like in the first game. With the exception of the extremely low poly count Do you remember what Cloud\'s hands looked like?  it was like popeye on Steroids after eating a ton of spinage
