Has anyone been to a private school before?
« on: August 02, 2005, 07:02:29 PM »
Interested in knowing about private/boarding schools cause I\'m going to one next year and I\'m worried.

hi
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

I\'m going into grade 12 again at this school, cause I have a slight tendency to slack off, not show up for weeks, and sleep during classes.

It\'s co-ed too.

iv been to private school all my life.

slacking can get u in some trouble..not doing homework can endup hurting but still pull out B\'s. But sleeping doesnt do anything..some teachers done like it when u sleep but i only had like 1 er 2 teachers a year like that. I slept every history class (teacher SUCKED) and managed a high B in the class.

But its nothing insanely hard..our school had like 1 fight a year and that seemed to be the biggest difference from public schools (my friend goes to a public school..said theres a sh*t load of fights..but thats just hearsay).

Here, public school AP courses are good, 90% of the classes at private are good, courses that arent AP in public schools are horrible.

I\'m more scared than ever now!

But they make you get up a certain time, play sports, march for cadets, make u wear suits, make you have dinning hall diners, make you study for 2 hours a day...

You get a roomate too. When will I have the time for pleasurable activities?

Private schools? isn\'t that where the pupils go around slamming their penis\' in the door?

I went to 3 private schools. The senior year my parents sent me to a mountain top private school and I stayed at their dorm. It was hard at first but then it got to be really fun. It was a co-ed school and we were allowed to visit the girl\'s dorm until 9pm. But we always met each other in the woods. I think I de-virginised 2 junior girls and 1 senior girl in my dorm room. My room mate was kind enough to sleep in the basement during those romantic evenings.

Have a great time! :D

I went to boarding school in Mass and it was the best time I ever had.  The main reason I wanted to go there was that is was co-ed and the school had a halfpipe.  This back in the mid 80\'s before the school realized it could be sued!

I did some crazy crap back then, taking a friends (he was a day student) POS Chevelle (think early 70\'s) in the middle of a snow storm to go see some girl I was dating.  The worst part was the dorm parent who was running after me down the driveway when I was leaving campus and me pretending not to notice... I could have easily been expelled for that as boarding students were not allowed to leave campus without approval let alone during the school day, but as luck would have it that same dorm parent was our lacrosse coach and he needed a goalie.

Two friends and I also got bored and started a sort of underground newspaper which reported the interesting happenings on campus like who was sleeping with who etc... Got suspended for 3 days for that one and was forced to write a "positive paper" in addition.

The only fight I was in in HS happened here as well.  My friends and I were hanging out in the cafeteria and this guy everyone hated started messing with some girls at the next table.  He and I got into it and then he left.  I didn\'t think anymore about it until one of my friends came into my room and said he was down in the laundry room talking shit.  I went down and right when he saw me he came running like he was going to punch me so I just pulled back and hit him right in the nose - breaking his nose and my knuckle.  I got him in a headlock and everyone was yelling for me to ram his head into the washing machine, but my hand was starting to swell and the adreneline had died down after about a minute of trying to switch hands to punch him some more while still keeping him in a headlock.  Ouch - I couldn\'t hide that one from school officials so after taking me to the emergency room where they cut off the blood to my arm and popped the bone back in place they suspended me for another 3 days.  When I got back to school people were signing my cast with things like "Do it again!" etc... The other guy never came back.

All in all my grades were really good and I did have a great time.  Friday afternoons drinking shots of Bacardi out of empty film canisters.  Ahhh the memories... we won\'t get into how I ended up inviting 2 girls to the same prom - that was bad. :(  The one I eventually ditched came stalking me on the lacrosse field and yelling at me during a game.
