Bullshit. We\'ve had hurricane season before and gas wasn\'t 2.50 where I live.

The average price for US retail gasoline is now about $2.55, so the graph you posted is not current.  It appears to be accurate, but it\'s not current.

At this rate, we will be back to that 1980s "Record High" and perhaps beyond $3.00 / gallon before long.  By the way, we\'re at $2.74 in Los Angeles, and I just paid $3.05 for 91 octane a couple days ago.  :yawn:

$3 a gallan here. And job rate in this country sucks so bad how are people suppose to afford this. 38 dollars regular to fill up and explorer.

I spend 70 a week on gas sucks ass. I am going to park the car this weekend and take the bus

I rented a Ford Explorer last weekend for some outdoor activity, and before I returned it, I put about 3/4 of a tank of 87 octane back into it.  That cost $47.00 at the cheapest place I know of.  Haw haw, I\'m so glad I don\'t own a damn SUV as my only source of transportation.  :)

why..because oil companies are greedy and they know they can charge all they want and the public will pay.

but like mm said, in the old days people were complaining gas was too high, and it wasnt even a dollar..gas will always be "too high"..why? because you cant produce oil. Just dig it up. and inflation.

im not sure of the working world yet, but im kind of worried about the gas going up but the paychecks not, so it wouldnt balance out.

everything is going up, and I don\'t know about you guys but I don\'t see my pay going up at the same rate....

How can a middle class family anymore afford a decent home.  A townhouse in my area is going for over 310k.  A fucking townhouse.  Pathetic :(
