the game kinda looks promising. walking on walls, dodging bullets, killing shit. it looks like it has a nice satanic suspense story too. opinions?

Yea a couple of us gushed over this a little while back.

It\'s definitely intriguing from a storyline perspective because you play as a murderer running from detectives trying to shake them, and trying to find out what outside force caused you to kill. Then you play as the detectives who must find the guy who is trying to avoid the cops.

It\'s just a cool way to play cause and effect and if you\'re lazy with either of them, the storyline leads to a game over.

Sounds like one of those \'choose your own story\' books you used to read as a kid.

Sounds promising, though idea\'s like these are next instigated properly from a gameplay POV.

Played the demo, and I have to say it\'s gonna be awesome.

I played the first scenario like four different ways. The first scene! I can\'t imagine the possibilities for the whole game and how it relates between the characters.

It\'s gonna be a crazy cool adventure game.

I think I\'m just serving to hype this one up to myself, but I want it to do well.

Here\'s a review (9.0 out of 10) followed by a quote from Penny Arcade.

http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=60494

From the review:
Quote
Scoring Fahrenheit with your head you\'d could slap a seven on it and feel confident that it sits comfortably in that zone where it did some very cool things that didn\'t quite come off. But if we did that it would imply that there are many other games out there today in the genre you\'ll enjoy more, which is obviously complete nonsense. With that in mind we had to follow our hearts and award Fahrenheit the nine it deserves for being probably the most enjoyable, forward-looking and thoughtful piece of videogaming we\'ve played in this or in any year. We never thought we\'d say this, but it\'s a real step forward for the adventure game genre. Now try sticking that quote on the box.

From Penny Arcade:
Quote
I read an article in (I believe) Game Informer about  Indigo Prophecy, which is called something like Fahrenheit in Europe. The game the article described sounded intriguing to me, but also perhaps too ambitious and maybe even impossible. I wouldn\'t have known that it looks much better than the screenshots give it credit for, or that evocative animation and camerawork might meet in a bizarre, original game concept.

I went down today and preordered it at lunch - they\'re saying the twentieth, which our people know to mean the twenty-first. Ensconced by monitors, with an awareness of gaming news that borders on omniscience, I can\'t express how exciting it has been to stumble upon a genuine surprise.

He just said: "I\'m looking forward to it."

Me too.
