mm, Mario 64 DS was pretty lousy. They added minigames and a shittier control scheme.

And more characters that you never bother with.

Sunshine had some cool ideas like the old-school levels in 3D, but the whole water thing kind of took away from the fun of playing a Mario game.

We\'ll see what comes down the pike next.

There\'s been no word on Mario 128 except for two rumors. One is that it\'s become a true sequel to Mario 64.

The other is that it is still somehow based on the tech demo showing tons of little Marios running around. This was put into use for Pikmin, but from Miyamoto interviews, I get the feeling he\'s still working with this idea for Mario.

Who knows.

I\'m waiting for the new Mario DS game that\'s a 3D sidescroller.

That\'s the way to be.

I never bothered with Mario DS, due to the crap ass control scheme. Not sure why Nintendo did not take the time to develop a new Mario title that took advantage of the DS.

As for Sunshine , other than the old school levels that game was a complete diaster. I couldn\'t be bothered to go thru it.

Sunshine had its moments. The game lacked a little bit of everything that could of made it much more. No big environments was my biggest disapointed. It was like Mario64 2.

I did like the water pack though. Every  3D platform game needs some kind of "double jump trick". The rail fight against giant bowser was decent too.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

It is one of those games that sometimes I feel compelled to give another shot (i.e, Resident Evil 3 / Eternal Darkness) but never can really get into.

And we drift off topic.

But I remember ED. I played through that game three times in a row.

Too bad it was never followed up by Too Human or anything.
