Lol Blue Stinger? That was one of the worst DC games.Actually one of the worst games I ve ever tried out.
Anyways one of the reasons why PS2 didnt made the same impression as the DC did to many was because the DC had already introduced the 128 bit generation to gamers a year before.
DC was a huge leap from the previous generation. But people compared the PS2 to the DC, not the previous generation and that leap was smaller ofcourse.
When I first saw the DC I was like WHOAH THATS JAW DROPPING!Ofcourse that changed later. Some of the same games didnt look as impressive or as interesting as before when the PS2 was released. The "wow factor" fell for me for both PS2 and DC and increased slightly later when developers started getting the grips of the PS2 hardware.
House of The Dead 2 didnt play differently from House of the Dead1 and I lost the original interest
Blue Stinger playied and looked like CRAP!
Trickstyle rocked my world and SSX was easily a good replacement
Soul Calibur was always great. But atleast for me TTT was as good purchase as Soul Calibur would have been since I was a huge Tekken fan and was spending hours on TAG at the arcades.
I still play Sonic Adventure though on my PC
Puts Sonic Heroes to shame
But overally both launches were good
