Yup, here\'s the official info:

Microsoft announced today that Xbox 360 will arrive on store shelves Tuesday, November 22 in North America, Friday, December 2 in Europe, and Saturday, December 10 in Japan.

Seems like MS is finally getting their stuff together. Sweet hardware, good price and finally a good time to launch. Kudos to MS (never thought I would say that).

You getting one Sammy?  I didn\'t pre-order and I don\'t plan on getting one on launch.  The only launch game that interests me is PD Zero, but I\'ll wait to see how the reviews pan out.

Nah, not right away anyway. I\'m not much of a gamer... :sconf:

Gives me a couple extra weeks... I started buying up furniture for a new entertainment center and I\'ll spring for the massive tv in a couple weeks. I\'ll probably check in here to see what you guys think of the tvs I\'m picking from.

Is it just me or are the launch dates being announced to late in the game? I mean, I remember back in the good ole\' days knowing the launch date way ahead of time. For example, I knew that 9/9/99 was the DC launch, MONTHS and MONTHS before the date. Same with PS2. Announcing a launch date just two months prior seems...odd.

As for buying one..Nah, this will be the first generation I skip out on. One reason is I am simply not excited by any of these consoles. Another reason is I have two kids on the way. Fact is, I guess I have lost interest in gaming. Since my fiance and I moved into our apartment, only one system has been hooked up, that is the Gamecube and only for she could play Super Monkey Ball.
