I hear it\'s gonna be a Cat 4, just like Katrina.  I hope people take it seriously.

I\'d like to make a joke (actually have a good one but I deleted it before hitting submit :)), but hurricanes just plain suck period.  My prayers are with the people there.

Get the people from New Orleans out of there they are freaking Hurricane Magnets!!! No seriously from what I\'m hearing they are taking it pretty serious, I know alot of places will be closing and alot of companies are going to help relocate their employees if it does indeed hit landfall.

They\'re taking preemptive measures to get people out of at least one county that was leveled by a hurricane 100 years ago...

Weird to see one so potentially serious so soon after Katrina. It\'ll be interesting to see what we\'ve learned. And hopefully it won\'t be as bad. Hurricane damage will be one thing, but there shouldn\'t be any flooding like in New Orleans.

It\'s still a wild guess where it\'s going but if it hits New Orleans again, that place should just be sacrificed to the Gulf of Mexico. Rebuilding that place is said to cost around $20 billion. I say we buy Cypress and just move the evacuees there. It\'s cheaper and the people that live there can be hired as servants.

all these storms and there are still 2 months left of hurricane season...

I think there have been like 17 named Atlantic storms so far this season, how many names do they prepare for any given hurricane season anyway?

EDIT:  found them... we only have a few left

Arlene
Bret
Cindy
Dennis
Emily
Franklin
Gert
Harvey
Irene
Jose
Katrina
Lee
Maria
Nate
Ophelia
Philippe
Rita
Stan
Tammy
Vince
Wilma

If we\'re unlucky enough to deplete the year\'s supply of names we won\'t, contrary to popular opinion, simply start using names from next year\'s list. In that case, the National Hurricane Center will turn to the Greek alphabet and we\'ll have Hurricanes Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, etc.

This very likely will happen :(

Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.
