its able to point its nose down but still fly foreward (engine rotates up and down).

Another jet theyre coming out with is the JSF. http://www.simhq.com/simhq3/sims/features/library/reviews/totalwar2006/JSF.jpg

I think this one can fly sideways and still straights. Its crazy.

1st of all I had hoped you were joking (like I was), but I guess not.  2nd of all this fighterjet is replacing the several decade-old F-15.  It\'s supposed to last us a loooong time.

Did you have the same complaints against the EuroFighter Typhoon when it was built?

Cyprus = island prison for dummies.

You think donkeys can fly. Therefore, you are a dummy. :p

Nah if it were a prison I wouldnt be flying outside my country with my F/A22 over the USA.

Also if it were a dressed donkey and not an F/A22 I wouldnt be able to fly unless it was a flying donkey.Ofcourse donkeys cant fly so there. :p

ur right but..Sadly, we HAVE to stay ahead of everyone else in military technology. It sounds stupid and sounds like "oo we have to be the most kick ass nation"...but unfortunately its a necessity IMO.

and my teacher said we were actually behind in other technology. I mean..isnt japan making a female robot they can bone? least we arent doing stupid stuff like that.

off topic..but would if those robots turn into soliders.......TERMINATOR IS COMING TRUE..

Its the system\'s fault for that. The nature of capitalism

Also that "necessity" thing IMO is bs.There are many that gain a lot of financial power behind military and they will do anything to feed that feel of insecurity, nationalism and crisises. They are trying to make it a necessity in other words. And ubfortunately they are usually hiding behind politicians.

Its ironic that leaders praise peace in front of people, they make promises of a better world, of enviromental protection etc yet they are doing the exact opposite creating a sense of insecurity between countries and lack of trust.

In front of discussion tables politicians from various countries will all seem to get along with each other and show values and the good example to the public. But behind closed doors they are saying other things.

The most powerful countries are the ones that feel the biggest thread from other powerful countries. And actually its not because things couldnt have been different. Its because there are the few that are hiding behind the government of each of these countries that want to protect their personal interests/profits.Its always the few that create this insecurity. And we fall for it

Ask every simple citizen in the world.Do they want war? They will all say NO.
But since nobody wants war?How does war exist?Who provokes war if nobody wants war?If nobody wants war why the existence of the military?

Its always the few.Politicians.We think that we all leave in a perfect democratic regime.BS.We dont choose the candidates. The candidates are the ones that have the financial power to become candidates. They are the ones that choose to become candidates because they care about the interests of the few and of their own.

We dont vote for the best politicians. We vote for the least worse. Not to mention that the majority of the political institutions are chosen by the few

Politics aside, the basic nature of man is EVIL.  All throughout history nation has wanted to conquer nation.  You have to carry a bigger stick, or at least have a friend who does.

Pffffttt...

These have been around for years...

I saw them in X Men 2 and they were taken down by 2 chicks in tights...

...still better than anything out there though.
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

Well, yeah it is true that it\'s not such a weird thing that the F15 gets a successor. F22\'s development, was, however costy in both time & money.

I\'m just saying that a government maybe would have done a better choice to fund environment friendly industry development, moreso than fighterjet development.

The Eurofighter was a German, Spanish, English co development. The Netherlands wasn\'t involved so my tax did not go into that. Heck, the Dutch government has, up until now, always bought USA fighterjets.

Let\'s hope the F22 can do something big for the USA economy in return.

exactly this reason unicron..I do believe some politicians want us to be more afraid than we should be, i believe the people who want to kill to conquer are the minority. BUT that minority can do some major damage. If 10,000 people are sitting around naive and thinking were in utopia, a group of people with weapons will destroy the 10,000. Why not? they have the power to do it..theyve done it in the past. Plus with nuclear weapons now starting to be produced everywhere..its much more tempting to launch one against a country that he militarily behind. (i know thats kinda extreme).

another thing is history..a lot of people hate us, imagine if they had a chance to beat us instead of just putting some dents in us.

sorry if thats all over the place..almost 2 in the morning..
