Well, there you have it.  The scores of launch games from the current generation launches.  As you can see I was entirely in the right when I said that there are many games that fall in the average to better than average category with usually one or two exceptional titles.  (Notice that there is more garbage in the PS2 launch than the other systems though...so much for PS2 delivering...unless you meant a slew of mediocrity by your standards, mm)  By all means, go back further if you will and check out those launches, it\'s the same deal.

If you bother to check the reviews of the Xbox 360 lineup you\'ll find that they all land between the 7.0 and 10.0 range.  (Yes, Project Gotham Racing 3 received a 10.0 from 1up.com).

mm, I\'ve watched you dig yourself in the deepest of shit and practically choke on it.  It\'s amusing and sad all the same.  If it weren\'t for you being an admin I\'d like to believe that those in charge would like to save some integrity for this forum and rid of you.  It\'s really too bad because this place could be great.  You\'re an ass, you can\'t debate for peanuts, and I pray to God you never breed.  Later

PS2 also released a lot more games.....There are just as many games ranging from 8-10 as did xbox or gamecube (actually, it DOUBLES it).  So unless your point is that Sony has no quality control (which is a valid point), the launch was just as strong (unless of course you are retarded and don\'t know how to quality check on your own).

Dreamcast was in a league of its own this current generation as far as launches are concerned.

Gamecube had a weak launch when you look at it, but I still picked up 5 games on day one.

I was out of control, heh. I got Crazy Taxi later on. :)

For X360 it\'s a two title launch for me. Kameo and Perfect Dark Zero.

Though I\'m really curious about King Kong and Gun.

First Person Shooters and GTA clones don\'t interest me, but these games just seem interesting. King Kong for it\'s perspectives and Gun for its setting.

Someone set me at ease and tell me they suck, heh.

Look at the ps2 list,

Summoner,Orphen, Eternal Ring

People can have a choice for rpgs

2 Mech Games to pick, Armored Core and Gungriffon

And 1 RealTime strategy.

Variety wins.

got dick in ur butt?

by current he means the past generation............... it is interesting to see how madden got a 9.0 on ps2 launch but their next gen launch is absolute crap. I havent played it but everyone says its just a stripped down version of 06. "brand new version" my ass..at least ps3 gets the new new madden.

Don\'t go by game scores.

I\'m sure Hawke would go bananas if he saw that someone gave Fantavision a low score like that.
