Restricted sites in IE
« on: November 26, 2005, 05:10:28 AM »
I have 2 accounts I created on my computer, one that I use, and one that my sister uses when she wants to go online.

On my account, I have an up to date list of restricted sites under tools> internet options> security, I think it\'s automatically updated by norton when I run live update, or some other way anyway, as most of the sites on there I didn\'t add.

On the other account, there are no restricted sites whatsoever.

Is there any way of transferring all the restricted sites I have on my account, across to the other one as well without having to manually add each one (either by copying a particular folder into the other account folder tree, or by calibrating norton to manually update both accounts). There are shit loads of sites on there, and it would take me forever and a day to write them all down, then add them one by one?

And before you give me all that "google is your friend" shit, I\'ve already checked and I can\'t find anything directly relative to it. I don\'t know if I\'m not making the query specific enough or what, but I can\'t seem to find what I want.
Don't waste your words I don't need anything from you. I don't care where you've  been or what you plan to do. I am the resurrection and I am the light. I  couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I'd like.

I asked someone here at work and they said that the profiles for the accounts are going to be different however Norton should be updating both accounts with that information.

That\'s what I was thinking, but it doesn\'t appear to be doing so.

Did they have any ideas why it isn\'t updating both?

But it\'s crap. It\'s a very poorly rated program. Norton was the first thing I deleted off the computer.

Well, thanks for all the advice about norton being a pile of wank and there being better alternatives, but that\'s not helped me sort it so that norton updates both restricted sites lists.

Now can someone please tell me how I can sort it so that they are updated for both??

Is there a way of doing it by dragging a particular file/folder either into the other accounts folder tree, or by adding a file or folder you the shared documents folder?
