Don\'t download patches yet for the 360, you might just destroy features....

I\'d say it was a botched launch, by all means.. but certainly not the first.

I\'d go as far as to say that my steadfast opinion that X360 will "win" this generation is beginning to wane a little.

This shortage stuff is just killing me. I mean I\'m laughing, at my friends.. who pre-ordered in May and aren\'t getting one until January.

I wonder how much demand will drop off if people (parents, moderate gamers) don\'t get this by xmas.  Lots of kids are going to ask for something else if their parents say they CAN\'T have one for xmas.  Still, the console won\'t flop as big as others have in the past, but I think it will be the biggest flop when you look at the amount of press and attention it got (ie, the nomad or 32X flopped, but got little advertising and lead-up).

Botched launches are the hardest thing to come back from. Just ask Sega how they done after they screwed the Saturn launch up.

Spring is rapidly approaching and Nintendo and Sony are ready to compete with price and technology, respectively.

Microsoft\'s headstart is dissipating quickly...

The only chance at a break away lead is if Sony delays to November and Nintendo stays there. (I contend that a Spring launch for Nintendo is a rumor...)
