Music suggestions...
« on: December 25, 2005, 05:41:44 PM »
Im needing some suggestions for hip-hop music. Even though I am an avid metal/prog head, I am always a fan of new \'good\' music.

Ive been listening to alot of Afroman (Tumbleweed :) ), and Tech Nine.

Can anyone give me some similiar artist suggestions? I like the interesting rap, very catchy, and a very \'underground\' feel. Please, none of that n*gga thug hateful bullshit, I want good suggestions.

Im sure their are some members than can hook me up with some good music. Thank you.

I recommend the killer MF Doom/Madvillian collaboration that came out last year entitled "Madvilliany"

Also try some Aesop Rock or some Atmosphere if you\'re not keen on the gangster rap.

(I\'m with you though, I much prefer smart hip-hop over rehashed corporate thug work like 50 Cent, Paul Wall, etc.)

Enjoy.

Lic doesn\'t care about black people.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

Hip Hop sucks. Try this for style;

The Azoic
Razed In Black
Future Sound Of London
Regenerator
Wumpscut
Hallucingen
Epsilon Minus
VNV Nation
Distorted Reality

Now THAT is music worth listening to.
