I\'m bidding the building of an edit suite this week.  It could potentially be a very cool thing for me if it all plays out.  I\'m looking at buying 90,000 worth of edit gear.  THe edit suite is about 20 grand and the rest is all Waveform/vectorscope, routers, mixers, monitors and decks.

I\'m bidding to put together 52 shows at 4 grand a piece.  With labor I won\'t make very much money on the deal, but if I can get it done I will have a very sweet high def edit suite for years to come.

Actually the only way I will be able to do this is if I edit a lot of my own show my self.  I am budgeting about 80,000 for freelancers to work on the Truck Universe show and on shoot days of my own show, but I am going to end up editing a lot of my own show myself to make it profitable.

I am looking at buying a G5 Mac with a 3.6 Terrabyte Fibre Channel XRaid.  It isn\'t going to be cheap.  But it will be able to do multi layers of HD uncompressed with the Kona-2 card.  Oye.  it\'s going to be bloody hell with outlaying this cash for the edit suite, 300,000 to build a house and now that my wife is going to be spitting out a new puppy in August, it will make for an interesting year.

Two Guys Garage show which is changing completely with this shake-up.  One of our hosts is being cut out of the show and is going to go do other things on his own.  It\'s very interesting behind the scenes stuff I won\'t bore you with.  

I\'m also doing the fishing show too, but that is just a standard daily rate type of thing.  Although it\'s a great gig.

Actually we had three people on the show for two years now, so it\'s actually going  back to two guys..  Which is great cause now I don\'t have to answer that whole three guys in two guys garage question any more.

I did.  But then I grabbed my ball sack and jumped out there on my own.  I doubled my income last year and could potentially double it another time in 06.  Hard for me to believe that just 6 years ago I made 40 grand.  I\'m working less hard now..  Gotta love america.

There was a Sony Handycam that if you set the nightvision during the day, you can look through girls clothes (guess depending on the fabric). Needless to say, they\'ve corrected this problem :
