Controller Conversion
« on: February 01, 2006, 04:33:32 PM »
Hey whats up everyone this is my first time on this site and I must say it is super informative, good job:)

Well here is the deal I have 14 Playstation 2 paddles and I would like to try something, but Im not sure where to start or if it is even possible.  What I want to do is convert my Playstation 2 paddle to Usb.   I already have the converter, but I would like to make the paddle USB WITHOUT the converter.  Does anyone know how to go about this or if it is even possible?

Well there is nothing wrong with my converters, I just want to make a few USB controllers, because I have always wondered if it could be done and I get really bored at work and I have access to everything I need to do little projects, not to mention I have lost 4 of those damn converters in the past month, so I need something that is all one piece.  I dont really care about the rumble, because I only use it for ROMS. I don\'t even need all the buttons to work, just some of them

Converting isn\'t a problem.  Writing or finding drivers to control it. IS!!!
