im bored..looking for music.
Im trying to find another band like lamb of god. Theres a few with similar guitars but the vocals arent as good (black dahlia murder).
If you know lamb of god songs, the kind im looking for are blood of the scribe and laid to rest style.

There is a very cool industrial trance band from France called Tamtrum. The frontman used to be in a black metal band but has since gotten involved in electronica.
Its pretty dark, very loud and very, very in your face. I\'d definately recommend it, as well as their big club hit "Le Son De La Pluie (Fils de Pute remix by Grendel)
Otherwise theres always new Combichrist or Leather Strip....

More looking for..melodic metal. At least the guitars. Not really sure what they are.
Bands like:
At the Gates
Lamb of God
Black Dahlia

Lamb of God kicks some major ass.
Check these out:
Arch Enemy (death metal, vocals are great - especially from a female  )
Although I would recommend this over arch enemy - a must have if your into Lamb of God...

checked out mastadon on itunes..pretty good.
Just cant find the same guteral energy like lamb of god..
i havent liked a band as much as lamb of god in a long ass time..laid to rest gets me headbanging every time i listen to it.
Found a band called trivium thats pretty good. But they have singing breaks that can be a little cheasy (on the first album at least..from what iv heard on the second one theres less singing breaks). But the guitars are good. They were going to be at the LOG/Slipknot/shadows fall concert i went to but they backed out for some reason.

strapping young lad.
Tho\', I suck, because I happen to love Devin\'s solo work.
Personally, I want to find more bands like Opeth, but none seem to exist.

Will check them out then.
Be honest, when I\'m sitting at home with the girls, I usually listen to laid back stuff (oldies / blues / etc), but when I\'m on my way to work or in the car by myself, it\'s metal all the way.

Pain of Salvation doesn\'t really sound ALL that much like Opeth to me. They are pretty incredible though. I think I like them better than Opeth.

no no don\'t sound like Opeth but if one appreciates Opeth then chances are you\'d like Pain of Salvation\'s stuff.
