heh..  Um..  Yeah..  That\'s pretty freaking bad.

That gives it about a .3 rating..

You could probably broadcast color bars and get more viewers.

Even my car show has over a million viewers.

what\'s weird is that i like to watch hockey, but i always forget what channel OLN is or that it even exists..or what time/day the game(s) are on. They need better publicizing.

it should do much better in ratings with games 3 and 4 on CBS

hell, i didn\'t even know what OLN was untill i found out INHD was showing the game in HD.

OLN = channel 608 on DirecTV

channel 95 on DirecTV is usually the OLN high def signal.

well, I guess if the two teams in the finals are a nascar town and a yukon outpost, then you\'re gonna get bad ratings. There\'s just not enough black men playing hockey. Once we have some T.O. -type antics then the lowest common denominator will watch it.

One of the suggestions for improving hockey\'s ratings would be to start the seaosn in Sept and end it Feburary, leaving March and April for the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The NHL is not going to be competing againdst the NBA and win in the rating dept, and nobdoy feels like its hockey season in May or June.

I think more people would take aninterest in hockey if the playoffs had their own stage during a time of year that feels a little more like hockey season.

Edmonton is making this an interesting series.

Looks like injuries are working against Carolina now.

As much as I don\'t want ot see Edmonton win yet another cup. I despise Carolina and their unworthy fans.

What a great game seven... I\'m just dissapointed the Oilers only came out to play in the second half of the game.  They tightened up a lot after that first Carolina goal.  I almost drove over to watch the game (being in Tenessee for Bonaroo), but I\'m glad I didn\'t with an Oilers loss.  Congrats to Carolina, and I\'m glad that Ward won the Conn Smythe trophy.. he really deserved it.
