There is no Xbox Tekken.  What you\'re seeing is reality having a fucking clash with Sony\'s hyperbole of CG last year.  It\'s okay, I\'m here for you.

 Ahm excuse me but that was even uglier than DOA Ultimate on XBOX. Its not even representative of the PS3\'s capabilities.

 Its not like they even tried to reach that quality and failed.

 We arent dissapointed with the fact that it doesnt look as good as the CGI video. We are dissapointed that it looks like crap generally. Are you trying to say that the PS3 is capable of only doing that level of graphics?

I don\'t know that the PS3 can achieve what Namco showed last year.  It\'s obvious Namco shot for the moon but barely got off the ground.  

It\'s more a shot at all the crap that was shown this time last year.  Some of it has come around again (Heavenly Sword, MGS4) but much has fallen short (Motorstorm, Warhawk, Tekken, and more).

Warhawk was nice looking almost as good if not as good, Heavenly Sword was mighty impressive looking as good as last years E3 trailer, and motorstorm was also nice but cant make any conclusions since I must see direct feed video. MGS4 is unbelievable. And FF13 is not a fighting game yet SE achieved CGI quality in real time.

 Tekken could have been much much much better. its undeniable. The lighting was even worse than a PS2 game. They just didnt put the effort. Even if they didnt show last years CG we would have still had the same reactions.

I wouldn\'t of clapped. Every other game shown looked leaps and bounds better than this crap. Perhaps they shouldn\'t have shown super high quality FMV as their trailer for Tekken 6 last year. Idiots.

I think it looks great.  The environment is much more detailed than T5: DR and the movements look realistic.  I hope that was real-time -_-

Cliff notes = read the thread or get out.

Those are terrible screens, I can\'t believe you like any part of them THX.  The textures are rough, look at the floors for lots of badly drawn lines.  The models are underwhelming WHEN you look at some of the other games pushing the graphical limit right now.  While I tihnk it\'s probably an exageration to say that this is worse than 4 or 5, it\'s certainly not on par with the other \'AAA\' hopefulls being showcased at E3.

denying subpar skin shaders & realtime lighting is futile. Tekken 6\'s characters looks so incredibly plastic and the lighting extremely artificial. Both technically and artistically, VF5 does such a better job at it. Add to that the fact I like VF gameplay better ; VF5 wins handsdown.

VF5 looks a million times better. I\'m probably getting a 50+ inch HDTV soon. This game should look quite nice on it. :fro:

Well, not \'a million times better\'.. heheh..

The VF series have always had a solid graphics level with Sega\'s vintage
arcade style graphics. There were times when Tekken overshadowed VF when it comes to visuals.

This round however, even VF5\'s solid (but non extroadinary) visuals even top
Tekken 6\'s.
