I\'m just a huge VF5 fan, that\'s all. ;) And after watching all the videos on gametrailers.com, VF5 is lookin\' pretty sweet. I stopped liking Tekken with everything after Tekken Tag Tournament.

Same here. In Tekken I\'d always get combo\'d to pulp by buddies. VF let\'s me counter & throw them.

My Asian friend always did things off Tekken Zaibatsu. He mastered everything. I did manage to counter him to weird he ended up with his back facing me. He was like "HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!" LOL. He kicked my ass in that game most of the time, though. Crazy Asians. :)

Yeah, I like VF\'s fighting style better than most of the fighting games these days. My other favorite is Guilty Gear.

Guilty Gear on PS3 would be awesome.

Indeed VF5 looks much much better. Also if any of you watched any videos will be amazed of the fluid animation and the way the fighting progresses. Its like watching at a martial arts movie. And it looks 10 times better in motion than these pics ;)
 
 Tekken5 did a great job in the series though. The animation is more fluid, but it still needs work (doesnt look as natural as VF5\'s animation) and I think they should do something with the juggling combo\'s. They eat too much.
 They should reduce the damage you do from juggling combos, not completely  get rid of them though. I didnt master many of these for nothing :p. They should also rely much more on the fighting on the ground. Make it more engaging.

i\'ve always thought tekken had the cooler characters...and at least namco tried to give them some depth by adding storylines to each character,...even tho in some cases they were rather quirky...but namco like konami was another developer that had a firm grip on sony\'s hardware, so it\'s disappointing to see them fall flat a bit in terms of graphics...i never really was a vf fan, but those pics are impressive...as far as the juggling is concerned for tekken, maybe they can tone that down some, but i don\'t see them gettin rid of it completely as it\'s kind of how tekken distinguishes (spel) itself from other fighters...

And I definitely wouldn\'t!

Well, sorry (and i\'m saying this as calm as my other posts) but if anybody\'s gonna talk rude to me (not particularly in THIS thread..), i\'m going to say something about it.

Furthermore, I think the general consensus is pretty clear about Tekken 6 ;

Namco\'s behind the next gen \'facts\' and needs to play catch up. What do they have going now what is considered hot ? RR7 ? It looks just decent imo...
