Wtf is your point then. Jug is the half brother to Xavier and after his gem was taking from him he still had powers. And if you\'re point was something else then I don\'t care, I\'m strictly talking about Gambit and Jug here. I even quoted the post.

I\'m not even talking about the movie. :(

I\'m trying to get the word out on how much Gambit blows. I know Soulgrind is talking about movies being based off comic books and other random shit but I\'m sure he\'s wrong in any scenario.

Jumpman he still had powers because the energy of Cyttorak can be split between whoever wears the magical bands.  He just shared the full Juggernaut\'s power with that other guy who touched the ruby also.

http://www.marveldirectory.com/individuals/j/juggernaut.htm

Quote
The Juggernaut once attempted to transform Black Tom Cassidy into a being like himself with the ruby of Cyttorek. The result was that both Marko and Cassidy were Juggernauts, but each had considerably less power than Marko had possessed when he was the sole Juggernaut. (Marko and Cassidy each claimed to have half Marko\'s previous power, but this is inaccurate, considering that the Juggernaut\'s previous power level was virtually immeasurable.) Marko finally regained his full power, and hurled the ruby into orbit so that no one else could ever use it.

Juggernaut himself said his powers aren\'t mutant but magical when Rogue tried to steal them.  Of course it didn\'t work and it sent Rogue into a brief state of madness.

But I forgot about Ulimate Juggernaut, whom the movie character\'s costume is based off(like Wolverine\'s and others).

In the Ultimate Marvel continuity, not much is known about Cain Marko. What is known is that he grew up in the same trailerpark as Rogue did and doesn\'t seem to be related to Xavier in any way. He refers to himself as trailertrash at some point, but also points out that because he grew up in a trailerpark people often underestimate his intelligence. This had led to a belief that he is actually smarter than his 616 counterpart. Ultimate Juggernaut seems to be a regular mutant with super strength, with no mystical background to his powers.

I read the wiki too :]

That\'s a cool ass costume but it doesn\'t look like what was in the movie. ?_?

I thought it had to be the best one yet. I hope that they do an xmen 4 they left so many things open. And if someone is pissed off because it does not follow the comics. No movie will ever follow a comic or novel. There is noway. They make these movies for the masses.

For what it was. It is was awesome and I stayed for the ended 95% of the people in theater left. Only reason I knew to stay is because I saw it on CNN.

Batman Begins had just the right amount of similarities and differences. Best comic book movie ever.

Saw it.

It was really awesome (at least as good as the other two) but there were parts of it that were a little disappointing.

For example, the core of the storyline (the "cure") seemed like a really stupid thing to fight over.

Oh, and arguably my 3 favorite characters died.

I\'m tired of people braggin\' up Bryan Singer\'s first two like they was remotely faithful to the source material. They wasn\'t. He butchered Rouge, he made Wolverine the central focus, he wimped Cyclops out, killed Sabertooth, watered down Mageneto and the list goes on and on. He wasn\'t anymore faithful to the source material than Ratner was.

I personally dread Bryan Singer\'s Superman Returns (will see openin\' day tho, as  a comic fan, I took vacation for it). I hated what he done with X-men and I dread his take on Superman. Ten bucks says Superman ends up being some whiney ass emo bitch.

I didnt say the other two were more faithful. If you check my first post you ll see that I liked it

Was there something after the credits? Not sure how people have \'the next one will be about apocolypse\' and \'charles is in another body\' stuff.

Not sure what the reasoning was of leaving right after the movie ended, but i did.
