i\'m getting maxima jaded yes haha, but in all honesty nothing\'s better for the money.  What else can I haul co-workers in at lunch for ~$8k and still get some "hey, nice car bytch" comments?

bought the other two maxes at 117k and 137k respectively.  I used them to devliver pizzas when i was in college.  first one was auto and the tranny failed after i started modding at 170k (silly me).  2nd one was stick and still runs fine, but has some nagging problems as described above.  this next one has 93k on the clock and is really clean on the inside with a leather interior too.

congrats on the audi gman, post pics if you can.  i forget who else has one on here, but he\'s in a constant rivalry with vid :)

nice whip thx...:fro:...i also see that with each car, you\'ve also upgraded the vehicle *year wise*....now your next upgrade should be either the 350z, or the sexy g-35..:D....for me i\'m gonna try to upgrade to the g-35 after i trade the lex...but like i\'ve always stated, you can\'t go wrong with nissans!..:thumb:

Not a pic by me but this is the same exact car, same color but of course, it never looks this good in real life as it\'s stuck in traffic most of the time (at least we\'re comfy):

My dad used to own a 1987 Maxima, the old classy boxy one. Very elegant and it lasted just under 200,000 miles until he sold it. I used to own a 1989 Sentra Sport Coupe XE, the 2door razor back version. That lasted well past 200k. About 50k was used to deliver Domino\'s Pizza when we still had the old 30 minute garrantee. :D

I used to fly by cops at 60 mph (at a school zone) and they\'d leave me alone coz they always got $2 pizzas from us (any size, unlimited toppings).

I hate big trucks. I don\'t see the point of them. There are so many kids at SMU that drive huge trucks that rise like four feet off the ground and I mean, its the god-damn city!

Anyways, I\'m getting a new car too!! My previous baby has been giving me a lot of trouble lately and I want a new car anyways. I\'m looking around and I don\'t want any kind of ricer.(Honda, Toyota...)

What would you recommend for about 25000. I\'m looking at VW R32 with about 20000 Miles on it. It\'s 2004(obviously) and it\'s very lovable! I don\'t know about buying a NEW car. I don\'t want to be THAT much in debt. That\'s for later after I graduate :)

This is the one I\'m looking at right now.

I\'m not much of a Euro-gear head so would you guys know the potential of such a car and it\'s cost. I know I want a cold-air maybe heads but what else could I do with it. Other than turbos(which are expensive...maybe later) I was looking at an Audi TT but they are way too...bubbly and I heard that is VERY expensive to tune them and stuff.

What do you guys think?

BTW that new Challenger is very sexxxy. I might have to go for that instead of the Camaro.

Mistiq, VW doesn\'t want you to buy any of their products... only build them.

Grats on the Audi Gman - I still have mine and I love it.

Thanks, man! What year and model is yours?

Mystiq, do NOT buy a VW. They have the most expensive maintenance record than any other car I know of since they constantly have problems. I\'m around a lot of car enthusiasts and trust me on this. Unless you\'re a mechanic who like to work with cars, fine. But if you don\'t have the time or money to maintain a lemon car, don\'t buy a VW.

And just to be stereotypical :p , if Subarus are for lesbians like me, VW\'s are favorites of the ghey. :)

They are all already here!

I went to see the VW and decided it wasn\'t for me. I\'m looking at a Subaru WRX now with 350 hp. killer

I like WRX\'s, but they aren\'t 350hp.  Are you looking at a modded one?

Either way, the LAST thing you need in college is a hefty car payment.  I\'d look at something more economical but you do your thing.  I know the under 25 croo thinks differently when it comes to finances.
